How to get over the 'freeze' when speaking to locals?

Posted by u/falsebeginner_654 / May 30, 2026

I can read basic Latvian signs and menus, but when I actually try to order a coffee in Rīga, my brain just locks up and I revert to English. I'm looking for a way to build real-world confidence—would using Chickytutor.com to simulate these specific daily shopping scenarios help me bridge the gap, or should I try something else?
