Can't get past the 'app-hopping' phase for basic Malay
Posted by u/Absolutebeginnerwh_975 / May 30, 2026
I’ve been juggling Duolingo, Memrise, and a random library book for three months, but I feel like I haven't actually learned anything practical in Malay. I'm worried that I'm just gaming the systems instead of building a foundation. I’m looking to scrap the gamified apps entirely; does anyone have a suggestion for a structured, output-focused curriculum that actually forces me to speak?
