Struggling to find 'real' content that isn't just simplified classroom audio

Posted by u/immersionlearner_115 / May 30, 2026

I’m at an intermediate level and I'm totally over the 'Hello, how are you' loop in most apps. I want to start watching Sri Lankan teledramas or news clips without subtitles, but the speed and the regional variations in vocabulary are overwhelming. Any tips for someone trying to transition from structured learner materials to raw native Sinhala content?
