How to move from 'Duolingo-style' Somali to native content?

I feel like I've hit a wall with apps. I can identify basic words, but watching Somali YouTube vlogs feels impossible because they speak so fast and use so many idioms. I want to transition to native content but I don't know where to start. Should I be looking for specific transcripts, or is there a way to break down native audio into something a learner can actually digest?
